Dayton Secret

DaytonSecret:

I'm sure a lot of you have already heard, but if not, read up on this interesting new initiative here at UD! The Cafe has a drop box so come by, grab a panini and let go of that secret! Read up yooo:

Secrets of U.D.'s students, staff, and faculty
What's your secret?

REACH Out with Active Minds and Art Street are sponsoring an ongoing community art project where YOU are free to share a personal dream, aspiration, fear, confession, regret, or anything you want to reveal anonymously. It is inspired from Frank Warren's PostSecret.

Letting go of a secret is often therapeutic and could spur a thoughtful dialogue on mental health. So have some fun and design a 4x6 inch postcard with your secret; go to www.postsecret.blogspot.com for inspiration.

Print out the postcard from the attachment OR download here: https://docs.google.com/fileview?id=0B1Z5yau4CgReNDRkNjVkZjQtMDcwMy00ZGZiLWI5ZGUtYzAwOTA3Y2JiZWZk&hl=en

Mail your postcard through campus mail (located at the Post Office) to Art Street +2620; instead of postage, tape a penny and all proceeds will go to Pennies for Peace (www.penniesforpeace.org). Or, drop off your postcard to DaytonSecret boxes which are located at ArtStreet Cafe, the Galley, the Chill, the Blend, the Blend Express, Stu's Landing, U.D. bookstore, and Liberty Hall.

All postcards to be displayed are due by March 26th. Secrets will be debuted at M-Fest on March 27th from 1-10 PM and will be displayed at Art Street throughout April.

BE CREATIVE. BE HONEST. DON'T HOLD BACK.

Please forward to any friends, faculty, staff, etc. from U.D. who you think would be interested in sharing their secret anonymously!

ArtStreet Cafe's newest panini creation is the Odierna! This wonderful featured panini is named after the one and only, Guido Odierna. Odierna was born in Capri (11-13-1913) and was a quite a talented painter. He is well-known for his seascape oil-paintings in which he incorporated the harsh, yet beautiful seaside with its jagged cliffs and powerful ocean water. Capri heavily influenced Odierna's work and life.
