John Donne^
At the annual ArtBeat art festival we held our panini creation contest! We had four contestants create their ideal panini and a panel of esteemed judges taste them and rank them. Our judges included: Joe Guy (CEO of Flyer Enterprises), Jim Saywell (President of the Student Body, SGA), CJ Babcock (Social Chair of ENT) and Jonathon Reinhart (drummer of the band G-lot). The winning panini was Sammy Kieszkowski's with her creation containing: salami, chicken, mozzarella, lettuce, tomato, walnuts, craisins, sig sauce and basil!Sammy Kieszkowski is a junior English major with a geology minor. She lives on Stonemill in a Marianist Student Community and loves having a house in the Ghetto - especially the porch. Her hometown is Naperville, Illinois and she considers herself to be a very family-oriented person. She's a big fan of paninis in general and, after exploring what ArtStreet has to offer her sandwich-loving taste buds, she knows what she likes...Hence the creation of this panini, with many seemingly random (but totally delicious) elements. She's named it the Donne, after her favorite poet John Donne, because she's passionate like that. Read "Meditation XVII" or "The Good Morrow" while enjoying her panini to get the full experience.
Come to the Cafe from now until the end of November to try her creation!!!
